I am sad to say that there has not been a lot of time for blogging in my life during the past year. Things have steadily rolled from one whirlwind thing to the next, leaving J and I often worn out. From our quick courtship to planning a wedding in four months, changing jobs and learning an entirely different work environment, moving my essentials into J's house after the wedding and steadily working on mine to get it ready to sell, moving the rest of my stuff into storage and continually house-hunting once my house did sell, moving my step-daughter in to live with us full-time, and finally purchasing our new home and land and making the latest move, life has just been very busy.
Truly, this blog has never reached the potential I envisioned for it and that makes me sad. But, I also did not have clearly defined goals and an implementation strategy in place to achieve them. When I started this blog, I was still very shy about sharing myself online. There was not a lot of information available on how to blog and everything I did was simply through trial and error. Furthermore, my life needed time to catch up with my blogging desires. It is hard to blog about family-oriented hearth and home when one is single. Having that family now makes me much more motivated to find ways to always keep it as the main focus.
It has been upon my heart for a long time that I desire to be in a position to be home for my family. I am finally ready to expand my blogging skills and work toward the ability to work from home. I'm still working through the development process and defining of my business plan, but I will be back here soon to provide an update regarding where you can find me in the future.
